Yahoo! And Google Ring in the New Year

Both Yahoo! And Google have announced the introduction of web applications allowing messenger, e-mail, search, photos, and mapping devices to be accessible via mobile phones. Yahoo! Go, a downloadable application will be available through AT&T and Cingular phones domestically, and through Nokia and Motorola phones Internationally. The program will allow popular Internet functions to be accessed and utilized in a more efficient manner then previous applications.Google will be available late in the first quarter of 2006 on select Motorola phones as an additional icon on the phone’s keypad.
